Job Description
Ocado is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide first-line support to the Operation, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. The role involves working within an automated customer fulfillment center (CFC) and contributing to continuous improvement projects. This is a key position within the Ocado Solutions division, assisting with online grocery retail technology.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in mechanical or electrical field.
- Associate’s or Vocational degree in electrical or mechanical related discipline or advanced training (3+ years experience preferred).
- Experience carrying out electrical or mechanical maintenance, predictive/preventive planned maintenance, and equipment breakdown diagnosis.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort working at heights.
- Numerate and PC literate.
- Flexible to working a shift-based pattern (nights and weekends).
