Oakwood School is seeking an outstanding full time elementary music teacher for our lower school preschool-5th grade.

Requirements

Plan, supervise, and implement the curriculum as a music education teacher
Design, and produce annual music recitals/concerts for kindergarten-5th Grade
Work in partnership and collaborate with other teachers, educators, parents, and specialists to develop curriculum, plan trips, and coordinate special projects as related to the position
Work and communicate effectively with parents in formal and informal conferences, written reports, newsletters, and other school-approved channels
Be a positive and contributing member of the Oakwood community
Fulfill campus responsibilities including break supervision, crosswalk duty, or other duties as assigned
Participate in Admission events, including Open House, New Student Orientation, and applicant interviews
Attend various staff meetings, Back-to-School Nights, and other events as directed
