Job Description
Medical Physicist at Danbury Hospital is responsible for ensuring the safe use and delivery of radiation for radiation oncology procedures, adhering to guidelines and regulations. This role involves clinical support, technical leadership, and patient interaction within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Requires a minimum of a Master’s degree in Medical Physics.
- Must either be licensed as Therapy Medical Physicist or be eligible for licensure per State regulations.
- Must either be certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Therapeutic Medical Physics or similar certification or be eligible to attain board certification.
- Must be either licensed as Therapy Medical Physicist or eligible for licensure as Therapist Medical Physicist.
