Legal Senior Specialist

Nu, the largest digital banking platform outside of Asia, is seeking a Legal Senior Specialist to support legal, corporate, and regulatory matters in Colombia. The role involves providing legal advice, ensuring compliance with Colombian laws, overseeing market conduct policies, and handling regulatory filings. The ideal candidate will have a strong regulatory background and fluency in Spanish and English.

Requirements

• Proven track record of experience with Colombian regulation and law (7 to 10+ years)
• Fluent or native Spanish and English
• Proven experience in the financial services industry
• Proven experience in legal core activities and knowledge of the Colombian market
• Great relationship builder with the ability to establish trust and credibility
• Outstanding communication skills
• An ability to deliver despite ambiguity and changing expectations
• Ability to deal with unexpected situations with wise decisions
