Job Description
The Operations Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial support to the Operations Division, compiling and preparing operational material for monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting purposes. The incumbent will also ensure the complete, accurate, and timely financial reconciliation of Transmission Distribution Operations capital and operational customer driven projects. The role involves leading quality control reviews for the Corporation’s various forecasts and conducting variance analyses for both management and regulatory purposes.
Requirements
- Professional accounting designation or a degree in business/economics
- Diploma in accounting with two or more years related experience
- Excellent analytical skills and structured problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Windows computer skills (MS Word, Power Point)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Work experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and/or BI360 Reporting is an asset
- Ability to learn to write reports based on NTPC’s ERP database
