Network Administrator

NT Concepts is seeking a Network Administrator to support the DoD enterprise Military Housing system. The role requires a strong interest in supporting secure networks within a federal environment and the ability to utilize network analysis tools to resolve routine network performance problems.

Requirements

• Assist in configuring and managing network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Support VPN connections, firewall rule changes, and network access control under guidance.
• Monitor network health, performance, and security using established tools and processes.
• Help troubleshoot connectivity and latency issues in coordination with senior staff.
• Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
• Participate in patching, upgrades, and other routine maintenance activities.
• Ensure work aligns with DoD security policies and federal IT standards.
• Utilize network analysis tools to identify and mitigate performance problems in the network.
• Monitor services with log aggregations, automated analysis, reporting, and alerting in support of incident detection and response.
