Job Description
Job Summary: Field Service Engineer (Emiratization) responsible for inspecting, operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment at client sites while adhering to HSE standards. Required to participate in troubleshooting, repairing equipment issues, and adhering to safety policies. Maintain a close working relationship with crew members, supervisors, and management within the NOV organization. Ensure service quality is continually enhanced and set a high standard in safety, operations, maintenance, and repair.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Solids Control/Waste Management roles
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, or solids control/waste management roles
- Offshore or field experience in the drilling industry
- Fluency in English
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals in English
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and procedures
- Training in specific safety programs such as Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) or H2S awareness
