Highway Asset Manager

We are looking for an experienced Highway Asset Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the local authority’s Highways Asset Management Policy and Strategy. This role ensures the safe, sustainable, and cost-effective management of highway infrastructure, supporting statutory responsibilities and delivering value for money through data-driven investment planning and lifecycle management.

Requirements

• Strong experience in managing highway assets
• Excellent communication and engagement skills
• Ability to identify process improvements, define solutions, and implement change
• Demonstrable experience in delivering both innovative and low-carbon highways initiatives
• Experience in developing people, services, or teams to recognise, respect, and value individual needs, fostering a culture of inclusivity
