Casual Receptionist/Secretary responsible for monitoring client flow, handling incoming telephone calls, scheduling appointments and updating the client database for the NorWest Community Health Centers in Thunder Bay, ON, Canada.

Requirements

• Experience as a Receptionist and/or Medical Secretary in a health care setting
• Proficiency in data entry and scanning
• Knowledge of electronic client records and medical filing systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Awareness and sensitivity to socio-economic and cultural issues
• Awareness of and sensitivity to health issues particularly within individuals who face barriers to accessing care
