Job Description
The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager (Financial Manager) to direct and oversee the agency's full revenue cycle operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all fiscal activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in healthcare finance, revenue cycle management, and financial systems, along with a proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines.
Requirements
- Payer enrollment
- Billing and claims processing
- Denial management
- Cash application and reconciliation
- Lead implementation, optimization, and governance of EPIC systems revenue cycle modules
- Ensure integration with state ERP systems, including OAKS FIN and OAKS BI
- Develop and maintain automated reporting tools and dashboards using Excel and system-based reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with Ohio Revised Code, Federal regulations and reporting requirements, Medicaid and Medicare billing rules, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Prepare materials for audits, fiscal reviews, and federal reporting requirements
- Conduct advanced financial and operational analyses to evaluate reimbursement trends, identify revenue leakage, model impacts of regulatory or policy changes, and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial dashboards
