Fire - Volunteer Firefighter - Station 2

Help Lakeshore build the best team to serve the residents of Lakeshore! Reporting to the Fire Chief, this position is responsible for Public Education, firefighting, rescue and other related emergency situations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of all prescribed departmental training programs, courses and classification examinations
• Maintain certification appropriate for the level of medical assistance that is to be provided
• Valid driver’s license for the Province of Ontario with appropriate classification for all emergency response vehicles including air brakes endorsement (minimum DZ License) prior to year one anniversary
• Mechanical aptitude
• Able to perform all essential job duties as assigned
• Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions
