Job Description
Nortek Air Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Service & Controls Technician to provide advanced technical support for their HVAC systems, focusing on electrical troubleshooting, control systems, and customer support. This role combines hands-on HVAC expertise with the ability to diagnose and resolve field and remote service issues. Candidates should have a deep understanding of electrical systems, HVAC sequences, and control integration, contributing to product support and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Provide expert-level remote and on-site troubleshooting for HVAC control systems, electrical components, and software integration.
- Interpret electrical diagrams, control programs, and technical documentation to resolve customer issues.
- Serve as a primary contact for technical support via phone, email, and other electronic media.
- Coordinate and lead field problem meetings, training sessions, and technical service visits.
- Assist in the design and verification of control systems using DDC/PLC programming and HVAC control elements.
