JavaScript/TypeScript Backend Engineer

Join our Video Engineering team as a Software Engineer to develop and maintain News UK's commercial products and platforms. You will work on designing and developing the back-end infrastructure and cloud-native services that underpin News UK's video platforms and products.

Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Strong experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress/Playwright
• Passion for solving complex problems and improving software architecture
• Team player with excellent collaboration skills
