Summer Camp Lead and Assistant Counselors

Requirements

• Provides a safe and healthy environment for all children in the camp program.
• Ensures that children are under proper supervision at all times.
• Eats lunch with the children and provides appropriate discussion for meal times.
• Ensures that all documentation takes place promptly.
• Follows the schedule and routine created for the program.
• Must be at least 16 years of age for Assistant Counselor and 18 years of age for Lead Counselor.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Emotional maturity when working with children, parents, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Flexibility, patience, and understanding when working with children.
