SPFHS-2025-44 Superintendent Parks and Forestry 3 (Internal Posting)

The Superintendent 3 will be responsible for the overall operation/administration of the park; supervise/oversee permanent and seasonal staff, park budget, and capital projects; and ensure the protection of natural, cultural and historic resources for the health and safety of the visiting public and staff.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Landscape Architecture, Park Planning, Park Management, Park Administration, Parks and Recreation, or Natural Resource Management, Cultural Resource Management, Environmental Studies, Wildlife Management, Biological Sciences or Ecology
• Three (3) years of experience in a natural resources management program, two (2) years of which shall have involved supervisory responsibility for the administration, operation, protection, and maintenance of publicly and/or privately owned lands and facilities managed for recreational and conservational use
