Niron Magnetics is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and improve standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing equipment.
Requirements
- Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing equipment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 lbs.
- HAZMAT and/or Emergency Response training
- Highly collaborative, enjoys working within a diverse team environment
- Strong interpersonal communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Ability to self-direct, troubleshoot basic problems, and address root causes
- An innovative practical approach to equipment optimization
- Demonstrated maintenance skills in a fast-growing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Comfortable working with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and software-based control systems
