Software engineer

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team in a creative and multidisciplinary environment. The role involves designing and developing embedded hardware and software solutions with limited oversight. The ideal candidate will have experience in embedded-systems design and be able to independently interface with technology partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• At least five years of embedded-systems design experience with a bachelor's degree or three years with a master's degree
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Proven teamwork skills
• Working knowledge of CAN communication protocols (CANOpen and SAE J1939)
• Understanding of electric motors and controls, electronic circuits (analog, digital and microcontrollers), battery and charger applications, electro-hydraulic controls, and electric- and engine-powered industrial vehicles
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and data loggers
• Awareness of mechanical and hydraulic systems and their interaction with electrical controls
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly operations
