Grant Writer

Neighborhood Housing Services is seeking a Grant Writer to join their team and support the development of government, foundation, and corporate grants. The role involves crafting proposals, managing donor relationships, ensuring compliance, and maintaining project documentation. The grant writer will also collaborate with other departments to facilitate budget and program reporting.

Requirements

• At least two to three years of professional experience, including grants research, writing grants, and grant management.
• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the successful development and execution of grant campaigns, fund development, and relationship building.
• Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal skills, with the experience of managing multiple projects at a time.
• Experience writing government grants (federal, state, county, and/ or city).
• Excellent writing and editing skills.

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office required and Adobe Design Suite experience preferred.

• Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and guiding investment in people and system.
