Labour and Employee Relations Specialist

NFI is seeking a Labour and Employee Relations Specialist to support their business units across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. This role involves fostering positive labour relations, advising on collective bargaining, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The specialist will also collaborate with legal counsel and build relationships with union representatives.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education with a focus on Labour Relations, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
• 1–3 years of HR unionized experience.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
