Job Description
NexThreat is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Specialist with an ISSO focus to support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) across multiple bases. The role involves implementing and maintaining cybersecurity programs, ensuring compliance with DoD and DAF policies, conducting risk assessments, and supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Experience with site surveys is preferred.
Requirements
- Current DoD Secret Clearance required
- US Citizen, no Dual Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience
- 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on ISSO responsibilities or similar roles
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
