Corp Finance Analyst I

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking a highly motivated financial analyst to join our Treasury team. This individual will rotate across three distinct team functions: Capital Markets Fundraising, Treasury FP&: forecast corporate liquidity, prepare board presentations, MOPR, and ad hoc Treasurer and CFO requests, and Hedging Program: trade interest rates and foreign currencies to support the continued development of NEECH’s interest rate and foreign exchange hedging program.

Requirements

• Support bond and equity transactions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, lawyers, and internal stakeholders.
• Build and update financing models
• Digest market reports and benchmarks and present insights
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, articulating risk exposure, impact to earnings & cash flows, and market insights.
• Execute interest rate hedges and cross currency swaps alongside foreign debt issuances
• Prepare materials for management overviewing our corporate hedge portfolio
• Monitor interest rate markets and assess the potential impact on the company’s financial portfolio and capital structure.
• Complete ad-hoc analysis of our current/future hedging and understanding their impact on our credit metrics and EPS
