Job Description
The Hill, a division of Nexstar Media Group, is seeking an Assistant Editor to join our newsroom. The successful applicant will work closely with other reporters and editors to generate ideas and craft and refine non-partisan stories and newsletters.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of political & policy-oriented news
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable suggesting edits
- A bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field
- Familiarity with SEO, analytics tools preferred
- Experience handling digital ads and/or newsletter sponsorships a plus
