Job Description
Nexamp is seeking a Senior Solar Project Engineer II to lead technical execution of solar power and energy storage projects, from development to completion. The role involves managing design, optimizing engineering, and developing expertise in technical areas to achieve project goals and drive Nexamp's mission in the renewable energy sector. It’s a fast-paced, mission-based work that challenges the status quo and offers opportunities for leadership and innovation.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent education/certification background.
- NABCEP certification and/or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) credential
- 5+ years of experience in solar project engineering and/or design.
- Experience working with third-party engineering firms.
- Familiarity with Distributed Generation (DG) or Community Solar landscape.
- Strong knowledge of design codes (NEC, IBC, IFC).
- High proficiency in PVSYST software.
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
