Sales and Use Tax Manager

Nex is a company that helps families rediscover the joy of movement through technology and play. We are seeking a Sales and Use Tax Manager to join our Finance Operations Team to ensure compliance with US sales and use tax regulations and support audits.

Requirements

• Apply knowledge of sales and use tax laws to various goods and services
• Coordinate sales and use tax filings and payments with internal stakeholders
• Download and review system reports to support regular sales and use tax filings
• Conduct sales and use tax research to resolve issues or anomalies
• Perform sales and use tax accruals, evaluate unreconciled balances, and assist with resolution
• Support sales and use tax audits by gathering documentation and responding to state notices and assessment inquiries
• Manage business registrations for new locations and renewals of existing ones
• Perform research and provide analysis on sales and use tax inquiries to minimize tax risk
• Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements to enhance compliance efficiency and accuracy
