Job Description
The Senior Appraiser will independently evaluate real estate properties for various purposes, including dispute resolution, mortgage underwriting, and portfolio analysis. This role involves preparing reports, inspecting properties, and collaborating with senior staff. The appraiser will also maintain knowledge of appraisal standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Prepare complete appraisal reports independently on complex properties.
- Conduct complete appraisals, examining and evaluating commercial properties.
- Make independent decisions and provide judgment in the development of the appraisal.
- Inspect properties.
- Complete formal review responses with guidance.
- Engage directly with clients.
- Complete formal rebuttal letters.
- Maintain knowledge of current government regulations, zoning laws and appraisal standards.
