Job Description
HDC is seeking a Strategic Operations Undergraduate intern for Spring 2026 to assist with strategic initiatives across the organization. The intern will work on projects related to affordable housing, policy, and economic development, gaining experience analyzing data, collaborating with stakeholders, and refining communication skills. The position reports to the Vice President of Strategic Operations and involves one or more projects such as evaluating a legacy affordable housing program, estimating revenue trends, and developing loan guarantee proposals.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate-level degree in any field of study
- Data analysis skills in at least one analytics framework (e.g., R, Python, Stata, SAS)
- Professional experience or coursework in statistics and econometrics, quantitative analysis, real estate finance, housing policy, program design, program implementation, management consulting, or equity research
- Financial modeling skills in Excel
