Senior Manager of Administration, Science

The New York Botanical Garden is seeking a proactive Senior Manager of Administration to oversee science administration and strategy, with responsibilities including financial record keeping, grant writing, and communication support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to life sciences, environmental studies, or museum studies.
• Three or more years of experience in administrative or executive support, project management experience a plus.
• Strong writing and editing skills, good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, and strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license required for on-campus transportation of personnel and meeting materials.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, be a self-starter, and take initiative.

Benefits

• Commensurate salary within the range of $78,000-$85,000
