Job Description
NRVCS is seeking a passionate and energetic Intensive Program Clinician I to join their growing team and provide direct community treatment for individuals with behavioral health diagnoses in the REACH program. This role involves coordinating services and resources with providers to optimize community participation. They have been voted one of the best places to work in Montgomery County.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and training in best practices for providing community-based crisis services for individuals with co-occurring developmental disabilities and behavioral health diagnoses.
- Demonstrated knowledge of agency, local, state, and federal regulations as they pertain to the REACH program.
- Thorough knowledge of DSM-V etiology, symptoms, treatment, and prognoses.
- Knowledge of and ability to administer various treatments and therapeutic modalities.
- Basic working knowledge of pertinent medical, legal, and financial terminology; psychopharmacology.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Acceptable criminal history background and child protective services check.
- Acceptable drug screening results.
- Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, or human services.
- State of Virginia Professional licensure eligibility.
