Job Description
New Leaf Energy is seeking a Utility Electrical Engineer I to join their team. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate potential PV sites, review proposed relaying and integration schemes, and guide projects through acceptance testing. Externally, the engineer will work collaboratively with utility engineers to design interconnection facilities and system modifications.
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Understanding of distribution system impacts associated with the interconnection of distributed energy resources (DER), as well as techniques for mitigating common distribution system impacts
