Neurology Revenue Cycle Manager

The Neurology Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the neurology billing and coding team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant billing, coding, and collection practices across all NJPNI sites.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience in medical billing/coding (neurology experience preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong understanding of medical insurance contracting, financials, processes, terminology, and CPT/ICD-10 coding
• Knowledge of Athenahealth or similar EMR/billing systems preferred
• Ability to competently use Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure
• Experience in supervising or training staff in a billing department is highly preferred
