Maintenance Electrical Technician

New Flyer is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician to maintain all plant equipment and ensure production uptime is maintained at 100%. The successful candidate will support the key operating principles of safety, quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Comply with all company safety policies
• Maintain a high level of quality of the work being performed
• Maintain the required work schedule while coordinating with production and manufacturing engineering
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Troubleshoot control voltage from 0 to 480V
• Knowledge of plumbing, hydraulics, HVAC, and all types of motors and pumps
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• PLC, Laser Fab, and 3-phase industrial electrical experience, knowledge of national electrical codes
