The Manager of Senior Services plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing multi-service programs tailored to the medical, cultural and social services needs of seniors (age 55 and over).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a leadership role serving seniors
- Relevant training in gerontology, recreation, or a related field, or equivalent experience in developing and implementing senior-focused programs
- Ability to oversee the daily operations and fiscal management for two Senior Center locations
- Proven ability in budget preparation and management, along with experience in project management
- Flexibility to adapt work hours as needed to support senior programs, typically following a Monday to Friday schedule
- A genuine passion for serving seniors and enhancing their quality of life
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to understanding and respecting the diverse cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds of our seniors in a community health environment
