Job Description
Neal R. Gross and Co. is seeking experienced Digital Court Reporters to capture legal proceedings with accuracy and professionalism. The role involves both remote and in-person assignments, with potential for short-notice work. Candidates need experience and equipment to perform the work independently. This is a contract position based at client sites.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Digital Court Reporter in legal or governmental proceedings
- Proficient in digital recording software, annotation tools, and audio file management
- Strong attention to detail and excellent command of the English language
- Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic courtroom or deposition environments
- Experience covering multi-speaker and technical proceedings
- Familiarity with court terminology and procedure
- Availability for occasional short-notice assignments
- AAERT Certification is strongly preferred
