Job Description
Neal R. Gross and Co. is seeking experienced Digital Court Reporters for various legal proceedings. Candidates should be self-sufficient and possess the technical skills to capture verbatim audio recordings, manage schedules, and maintain confidentiality. Remote assignments are common, potentially spanning multiple jobs per week. Experience is critical, with prior experience as a court reporter preferred.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Digital Court Reporter in legal or governmental proceedings.
- Proficient in digital recording software, annotation tools, and audio file management.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent command of the English language.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to courtroom or deposition environments.
- Experience covering multi-speaker and technical proceedings.
- Familiarity with court terminology and procedure.
- Ability to pass security screening for client sites.
