Job Description
The company is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to provide technical support and engineering expertise for the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) programs. The role involves supporting the development, evaluation, and maintenance of these systems, ensuring their reliability and readiness in a shipboard environment. This position will also include participating in system failures and effects analysis and compliance with Navy maintenance standards.
Requirements
- Provide engineering support for EMALS/AAG mechanical systems.
- Develop, review, and update Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs).
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with ILS and logistics teams.
- Participate in FMEA and RCA.
