As a Senior Electrical Engineer at NavVis, you will work on forward-looking technology initiatives, exploring new components, building prototypes, and influencing the direction of NavVis products. You will lead a mix of discovery work and Electrical Engineering development tasks, integrating sensors and compute units, and influencing technical direction.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a similar field
- 5+ years experience working on a full product lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with Embedded C and Python, Linux and terminal tools, PCB design (Altium or similar)
- Experience with DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and optical testing setups
- Proven experience building hardware setups, soldering skills and prototyping
- Practical experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, cameras, or a variety of sensors
- Experience working in a product development team with multidisciplinary collaborators
- Ability to work independently and drive explorations end-to-end
- Broad interest across technologies, sensors, compute, and system-level discovery work
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical ideas to different audiences
