Campus Building Engineer

The National Western Center is a 250-acre campus in Denver, Colorado, transformed into a vibrant event hub and innovation campus with new facilities and programs. They are seeking a dedicated Building Engineer to operate and maintain the building systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. The role involves hands-on work in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, and facilities management, with opportunities for professional development and collaborative teamwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in operations and/or events
• 2-4 years of experience in a facility engineer position
• Experience with computer-based operating and energy management systems
• Possess and maintain a valid universal CFC license
• Possess and maintain a valid and applicable Refrigeration or Boiler Operator license
• Forklift Certification and Scissor Lift Certification or willingness to acquire within 60 days
