Job Description
NICO National Indemnity Company is seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern to assist with various accounting processes, including reviewing and auditing accounting processes, preparing schedules for annual financial statements, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Junior class standing or completion of Intermediate Accounting
- Accounting, Math, I.T. or Finance major
- Full-time course load during Spring and Fall semesters
- Proficiency with personal computers and software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word
- Excellent grammar, proofreading and oral / written communication skills
- Punctual
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
