Job Description
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the physical therapist. This role focuses on restoring patient function, assisting with injury prevention, and performing patient care tasks. The PTA assists patients in reaching their full potential and follows infection control, equipment, safety and fire protocols.
Requirements
- Degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Current certificate as Physical Therapy Assistant
- Current BCLS (CPR) certification
- Previous experience as PTA preferred
