7-12 Grade Latin Teacher

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a Latin Teacher to deliver the Latin program for students in Grades 7-12. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and strong teaching skills.

Requirements

• Implement the curriculum as outlined in the Core Knowledge and, when applicable, IB frameworks.
• Teach five subject-area classes that meet daily.
• Deliver clear, well-structured lessons based on measurable learning objectives.
• Assess student learning regularly and complete required progress reports and report cards.
• Collaborate weekly with colleagues in the Languages Department, including the Department Chair, on curriculum, instruction, assessment, data analysis, and teaching methodology.
• Implement the school's assertive discipline model with fidelity to ensure a structured and positive learning environment.
• Attend all staff meetings and participate fully in professional development programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Languages Department Chair, Assistant Director, Assistant Superintendent, and/or Superintendent/Director.
