Job Description
Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Operates various types of CNC machines to produce parts conforming to print requirements.
Requirements
- Operate various types of CNC machines to produce parts conforming to print requirements
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
- Demonstrate an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and basic print reading
- Perform basic daily maintenance or checks for machines
- Operate a 2 axis lathe and hold.0005 tolerances
- Operate a 4th axis mill
- Perform First Part Inspections for all lathe and mill operations
- Mentor and assist colleagues in set ups or program adjustments
- Make program or set up datasheet adjustments to master files for future use
