Job Description
Mutual of Enumclaw is seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriting Specialist to assess and underwrite new and renewal business. This role involves partnering with sales and marketing teams to develop relationships with agents, manage accounts, and contribute to strategic initiatives. The position requires strong analytical, sales, and communication skills and a commitment to risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Review and assess medium to large-sized risks of moderate complexity.
- Anticipate and identify moderately complex underwriting and marketing problems.
- Manages underwriting and submission flow for the assigned agency.
- Properly escalate risks beyond the designated authority level.
- Document underwriting file.
