Murphy Geospatial is seeking an NDT Technician to join their Special Engineering Services department. The role will involve conducting technical inspections using various technologies, handling and processing geospatial data, and producing interpretive reports. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working with non-destructive testing equipment, a strong understanding of surveying principles, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience working with non-destructive testing equipment on civil infrastructure
- Understanding of surveying using total station / GPS etc
- Ability to process and analyse GPR data using advanced software such as Geolitix
- Survey/Engineering or other relevant qualification for the role – Civil Engineering desirable
- Fundamental knowledge of the principles and practices of GPR and structures
- Ability to perform detailed field and office inspection work
- Good writing skills and proficiency in the English language
- Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
- Possess a full clean driving license.
- Ability to work in a Hybrid environment (office/site/home)
