Equinix is hiring a Critical Facilities Technician to operate, manage, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, power systems, plumbing, fire control, and suppression. The role involves assisting with repairs, installations, and monitoring of building systems, as well as collaborating with vendors and senior team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, or a related field
• Familiarity with facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, or safety systems
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks using standard operating procedures
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems such as Building Monitoring Systems (BMS)
