Job Description
Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst / CDM Chargemaster to support the maintenance, compliance, and optimization of the Charge Description Master (CDM). This role involves reviewing clinical documentation, processing charges, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of Epic and Meditech systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Review clinical documentation to validate charge codes
- Process and evaluate new charge requests
- Build new charges with CPT/HCPCS and revenue code updates
- Audit and validate charge integrity in Epic and Meditech systems
- Coordinate billing code corrections
- Support implementation of regulatory coding changes
- Assist in resolving payer denial or failed Medicare edits
- Coordinate with IT and clinical departments
- Assist in resolving issues with newly created charges
