Job Description
The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in cardiology and metabolism to join the Goedeke lab. This research position involves identifying metabolic hubs and mitochondrial energy metabolism to understand atherosclerosis risk. It's a translational research position in a collaborative environment with a focus on novel research tools and publications.
Requirements
- Command of English language
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong writing skills (first author publications)
- Experience with molecular & cellular biology, rodent work and mouse models of atherosclerosis
- Experience with flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and/or single cell RNA-seq (preferred)
