The Data Analyst II will oversee activities related to data integrity, security and enhancement of the value of data. They will collaborate with Center faculty and staff, supporting them in all manner of funded and unfunded research, including data cleaning, linkage, analysis, and presentation. They will also develop and execute reports that will be important assets of the practice as they continue to develop and evaluate a new model of care.
Requirements
- Collaborate with peers and interdisciplinary partners across the institution
- Support data cleaning, linkage, and integration
- Develop and maintain protocols for and records of data storage, cleaning, and analyses
- Support center investigators and staff in analyzing data and preparing data for presentation
- Accurately and appropriately interpret and communicate results
- Detect and address issues in data and analytic results
- Clearly communicate processes used and results achieved
- Assist in writing and editing manuscripts for publication and grants
- Develop analytic reports that are easily understandable by clinical and administrative staff
- Use modeling techniques and tools in analyzing and specifying data structure
- Implement best practices in data management to ensure the integrity of the data
- Maintain data integrity and completes data analysis as necessary
- Complete data capture, data extraction and analysis
- Document, implement, maintain or recommend operating methods to improve processing, distribution, data flow, collection, database editing procedures
- Work closely with IT management and staff
- Cultivate deep familiarity with methodological approaches and data
- Help to build and perpetuate a practice environment and culture of collaboration, respect, learning, and flexibility among all team members
