Job Description
The Cardiovascular Technician at Mount Sinai Queens is a part-time, per diem position responsible for preparing patients for cardiac procedures, assisting with hemodynamic monitoring, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. This role involves assisting the health care team and contributing to the quality of patient care through adherence to sterile techniques and meticulous adherence to guidelines.
Requirements
- Maintain sterile techniques to prepare room, equipment table, and provide quality care to patients.
- Monitor equipment to ensure appropriate working conditions and during procedures.
- Retrieve supplies under the direction of physicians and nurses during the procedure as needed.
- Assist in the transport of patients and transfer of patients to the procedure table.
- Count the number of revolutions during a rotablator procedure.
- Assist in the transport of patients and transfer of patients to the procedure table.
