Job Description
Motional is seeking a Principal Engineer to join their Behaviors team, working on prediction and machine learning for autonomous vehicles. The role involves defining project direction, influencing organizational strategy, and collaborating with engineers and researchers to build and deploy solutions for self-driving technology. Remote work with occasional travel is supported.
Requirements
- BA, Masters or PhD in a related field; or equivalent industry experience
- In-depth understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms
- Experience designing, training, and analyzing neural networks
- Fluency in Python and experience with PyTorch
- Experience with large data sets and data deriving insights
- Strong track record of tackling ambiguous problems
