The Mine Supervisor is responsible for providing technical knowledge, operations experience, and management skills in the daily direction and performance of the safe, efficient, and quality work performed by mine operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 or more years of underground mining experience
- Possess Mining Common Core
- Demonstrated leadership experience within the mining industry, supervision experience in soft rock mines preferred
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing; proficient skills in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act; experience with Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants
- Must have or be able to obtain Supervisory Common Core
- Demonstrated strong safety background
- Ability to work various shifts
- Knowledge of mining methods and the use and operation of related equipment
